KALANGU | SPIRITUAL DRUM: Mythically, in some parts of West Africa is used to communicate with the unseen spirits or under-world. It is traditionally played by the Hausa Ethnic Tribe. The kalangu is often called a talking drum: by changing the pitch of the drum kalangu players can imitate the tonal quality of various African languages.
