This model was made in Sculptris by closely following the contours of jaguar skulls in reference images and leaving some muscle just behind the jawbone. While the jawbone is clearly defined in the model, it does not detach from the rest of the skull and the entire model prints as one solid object.
Also, some good print settings in Cura (or similar 3D slicers) for the support structures are to (1) enable the support interface, (2) change the support interface thickness to 0.6 mm, and (3) set the support Z distance to 0.2 mm. These will minimize any rough surfaces that the final print will have, particularly if the material you are using is PLA. If some of the settings are not appearing in Cura, click on the hamburger button on the right hand side and then click on 'Expert'.
