This is my dragonFly. It is my version done from a friend's painting. The photos are my 3D prints, done using the included Chitubox files on a Mars 2 Pro.
Some notes from printing. The wings are shaped to give them strength. I printed them with the dip in the center down (toward the baseplate), then left them on the baseplate to remove them. I used sharp plastic edge and ran it along the long edges first. Then, keeping it facing slightly downward toward the scafold, worked my way toward te centre. They are tricky to do, but suprisingly strong when removed.
I only made the body hollow. There was so little saving on resin, I thought it wasbetter to leave the rest solid for strength. It still uses very little resin. I have used 50% supports in my Chitubox files, which seems to work fine and minimizes the marking of the model. I have included images of how I set up the print in Chitubox.
I hope you like. Happy printing.
