Deinonychus Skull

Deinonychus Skull 3D print model

Description

Hi guys,

this is my sculpt of a Deinonychus Skull (based on the late 60s reconstruction of John Ostron)

The fossil is split up in different parts/fragments (no need for filling gaps)

Size of the skull: 400mm x 235mm 168mm

Printer: Creality CR-10

Nozzle: 0,4mm

Layer: 0,1mm

Speed: 50mm/s

Infill: 10%

Support: yes

I concepted the skull to be mounted on a 6mm diameter metal rod.

If there are any questions left feel free to ask.

Have fun printing !

Can the pieces be printed with a printer whose print volume is 150cmx150cmx150cm?

Hello, here's a list of the biggest parts. As you can see, this model can't be printed 1:1 scale with your printer. "Mandible Part 2"= 220x47x50mm "Mandible Part 3"= 217x56x42mm "Skull Part 7"= 211x130x160mm "Skull Part 8"= 219x64x73mm

If you cut the Upper Jaw 3 in half in mesh-mixer, right down the middle, then you can print the whole thing at 50% scale on a mono SE.

Excellent model. I have printed and painted this model and it went together very well. Used the Anycubic Photon Mono M5s 3D printer with Anycubic's high speed resin. All pieces came out perfectly. Thank you!
