So the lightsaber mesh and the hand mesh is not connected? Or separate mesh?

By default, the swords are attached to the hands. You can use the .ztl file, in it all the details of the statuette are separated into parts.

Can i do it on the stl using another software?
By select the saber mesh and remove it?

I do not think that's possible, the sword and the hand is a single mesh. You can delete, but then in the palm will be a hole.
