**Ancient Egyptian Statue Anubis 3D Print Model**Model formats :stl,fbx,obj,3mfAnubis, also known as Inpu, Inpw, Jnpw, or Anpu in Ancient Egyptian, holds the title of the god of funerary rites, protector of graves, and guide to the underworld. In the ancient Egyptian religion, he is often depicted as either a canine or a man with a canine head. Anubis played various roles in different contexts, much like other deities in ancient Egyptian mythology. From the First Dynasty onwards, he was recognized as a guardian of graves and an embalmer. However, during the Middle Kingdom, Osiris took over his position as the lord of the underworld. Anubis had a significant role in escorting souls to the afterlife, particularly during the Weighing of the Heart ceremony, where the fate of a soul was determined. Despite being one of the most frequently depicted and mentioned gods in the Egyptian pantheon, there are no known myths directly involving Anubis.

Anubis was often portrayed in black, a color symbolizing rebirth, life, the fertile soil of the Nile River, and the discoloration of a corpse after embalming. He is closely associated with his brother Wepwawet, another Egyptian god depicted with a dog's head or in canine form, but with grey or white fur. It is believed that these two figures eventually merged into one. Anubis' female counterpart is Anput, and he is also the father of the serpent goddess Kebechet.
