This model is for 3d Printing
Highly detailed, quality and accurate modeling.
This is my version of the first shield of captain america i modeled for a cosplay. The size i printed is the size of my model (you may have to scale x10 in your slicer, metrics relative). The right parts are the same as left ones, but mirrored.
/!\ Printed on a 30x30 heated bed (Alfawise U20) so you may have to split it more or printing it standing, depending of the size of your bed !
I printed it in ABS to have strongs parts. Laying flat, trying to avoid warping and it worked great like this (but consumed more material for supports, cause the shield is curved). But the hard part is to glue everything together, i found hot glue to be the more convenient to achieve this, but maybe there is better alternative [ don't hesitate to share your thoughts in comments :) ! ] All the parts are glued to a moss square mat i found at the local DIY store. I used old belts to make it possible to attach at your arm, before gluing.
Infill between 25 - 30 %
I hope you enjoy !
