Description

A little-known sculpture is in Venice, but it is one of my favorite winged lion sculptures.

large bronze sculpture of a winged lion lies at the base of the Venetian patriot Daniele Manin's statue located in the small Manin Square in Venice, Italy. The Lion was sculpted by Luigi Borro in 1875.

It's a fairly detailed model, and all in all I don't regret the purchase, but the publisher could have spent some time in cleaning up the model. Especially on the steps and the back side there are artifacts. That the photos of the model don't really show this is also a problem. My goal is to 3D-print it, and I will have to do some work on it before that.
