Star Trek Type 4 Shuttle 3D print model

This is my rendition of the Star Trek Type 4 Shuttle originally seen in Star Trek the Final Frontier movie. It is designed as close as I could get it to the 31Studio model, with a length of 787mm. There were several different sizes, so if you want to resize this to the 5 foot model, go for it. There are options to the design where you can add lighting for the engine, but if you don't, there is also a non lit version which is a bit simpler to print. Since the model at the 31 Studio Scale is large, the hull is broken up into 8 pieces. The largest hull piece is 160mm x 208mm in the X and Y, and the other largest piece is 287mm in height (Z), so it would fit most larger printers.

Pieces have pin holes for alignment to ensure a precise fit and have holes for metal tubing or rods to support the model while it is sitting on the nacelles. The pin holes are 3mm in diameter and 10mm deep and the metal rods are 6.25mm in diameter (or 1/4") and 368mm long. Since the hull is a hollow shell, you can design an interior for it if you wish.

If you want to make an interior and want one of the side doors to be open, let me know and I can accommodate that. The same goes for the cockpit window. A decal sheet that you have to print is also included.

Some smaller detailed pieces would benefit from being printed on a resin printer. Those pieces include nacelle inserts and engine parts if you want to have your model lighted. Due to the simplicity of the design there is no instruction set. Message me if you have any questions.
