Evangelion Unit-01 (エヴァンゲリオン初号機[?], Evangerion Shogōki) is the first non-prototype Evangelion unit, and is referred to as the EVA-01 TEST TYPE. It houses the soul of Shinji's mother, Yui Ikari. It is mainly piloted by Shinji Ikari. Unit-01 serves as the flagship model for the series. Unit-01 stands out from the other units as it frequently acts independently (the Berserk Mode), without the instructions of a pilot and without any apparent power source. Unit-01 will also take action to protect its pilot while sometimes servicing other interests. The Evangelion's resident soul, Yui Ikari (Shinji's mother), appears to be responsible for such events. Unit-01 is called the Test Type, perhaps because of the experimental way in which it was created: although Unit-01 seems to be an Adam-derived cybernetic organism like all other Evangelions, it is the sole Evangelion to have been born from Lilith.

I have notified Bandai. We will see if you can continue to profit from intellectual property you don't own.

BANDAI own the rights to produce Evangelion models. Where is YOUR license?

transformative use or transformation is a type of fair use that builds on a copyrighted work in a different manner or for a different purpose from the original, and thus does not infringe its holder's copyright. Transformation is an important issue in deciding whether a use meets the first factor of the fair-use test, and is generally critical for determining whether a use is in fact fair, although no one factor is dispositive. Transformativeness is a characteristic of such derivative works that makes them transcend, or place in a new light, the underlying works on which they are based. In computer- and Internet-related works, the transformative characteristic of the later work is often that it provides the public with a benefit not previously available to it, which would otherwise remain unavailable. Such transformativeness weighs heavily in a fair use analysis and may excuse what seems a clear copyright infringement from liability.

ROFL $119 for an unlicensed model. Do you own the right to sell this IP?

Hi, thanks for contacting us! It is called derivative or transformative work under the fair use. It's a full armor for a cosplay, it's a really complex design (completely done by our team, following various references from the anime) adapted for cosplay and wearabilty. This is even below the market value of an armor like this, so if you don't like the price, you can look elsewhere. So yes, we do own the license on this model.

You can't wear a 3d print, so your cosplay "license" is irrelevant. You are charging money for intellectual property you don't own.

I think, you are talking about something you don't know. Search derivative and trasnformative work under fair use, it is not our job to explain the law. This is our intellectual property. You can wear the armor as a cosplay, it is separated into multiple parts to print it easily, assemble it and wear it. As I said, if you don't want the model, don't buy it.

Then please explain to me how you WEAR your model?

Sure, We have printed and weared multiple armors, you can see in our profile banner, by clicklin on our CGTrader's profile. Every piece is separated, for example, the shins, the forearms, the chest, the back, exc... The armor goes on like a medieval armor, so obviously the joints are not covered by any hard material or can be 3D printed with flexible materials like TPU (In the case of this armor there are not any joint covers). They can be weared easily by using either clips, magnets and velcro/elastic strips depending on the user's preference.
