It’s the escape day of the notorious criminals! This is the petite version of the Mass Breakout!
I took care to make every detail of the Prison.I tried to do everything from the cells that appeared after the explosion to the bruises on the building. The bottom of the model features an ocean made of transparent resin and rough waves crashing into the building.
You can use Elegoo Clear Blue Resin for the wave.
The Ocean pedestal and Prison are two separate pieces.
3D printing settingsThis model was printed using an Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra resin printer. For large prints, a 0.1mm layer height works perfectly fine. I used Anycubic resin with a 2-second exposure time per layer.
Scaling & Unit Conversion Notice:Sometimes, when fixing STL files, the unit of measurement can switch from millimeters to centimeters. If the model appears 10 times larger than expected, simply scale it down to 10% of its current size (reduce by one decimal place, e.g., 100mm >>> 10mm).
When resizing multi-part models, make sure to scale all pieces by the same percentage to maintain proper fit and alignment, especially if the model includes connector pins or interlocking parts.
Since every printer and resin behaves differently, I can’t provide a one-size-fits-all setting. However, if you’re new to resin printing, you can easily learn by watching tutorial videos. There are plenty of great resources available!
Fun Fact: The Dreadwater Prison
In the vast, endless expanse of the ocean lies a prison feared by all, known only as Dreadwater Prison. This forsaken fortress sits atop a jagged, isolated island, surrounded by tumultuous waves and treacherous storms. No ship dares approach its shores unless absolutely necessary, and those who do are often lost to the relentless, dark waters that swirl around the island like an eternal barrier.
Dreadwater is a place for the most dangerous and malicious of prisoners—those whose crimes are so great that no magic or charm can contain them within the bounds of any regular jail. The prison is built into the cliffs of the island, and its dark stone walls rise like a jagged crown above the crashing waves. The constant roar of the ocean serves as a cruel reminder to the prisoners that escape is impossible. The isolation is absolute, and the only company they have are the howling winds and the relentless sea that seems to echo their torment.
The prison is not simply a physical structure, but one that is alive with magic. The waters surrounding the island are enchanted with a powerful spell, a barrier that no wizard can cross. The magic of the ocean itself is part of the prison’s enchantment, as it drains the will of those trapped within, leaving them weak, disoriented, and hopeless. The saltwater carries an unnatural cold, sinking into the bones of those unlucky enough to be imprisoned there. It seeps into the very walls, and in the silence of the night, some prisoners claim to hear whispers in the water, the voices of those lost to the deep, or perhaps the voices of the prison itself.
The wardens of Dreadwater Prison are no ordinary guards. They are a secretive order, known only as the Tidekeepers, and they wear masks of bone and seaweed to protect their identities. The Tidekeepers move silently, as though they themselves are part of the ocean, appearing from the mist and fading back into it just as quickly. They are said to be able to read the hearts of the prisoners, sensing their every move and thought, and ensuring that no escape can be made.
Despite its terrifying reputation, there is a strange rumor that sometimes, just before dawn, a prisoner might see a light on the horizon—an illusion, perhaps, or a fleeting hope that they could escape. But no one has ever reached it. Those who have tried were swallowed by the waves, leaving behind only their stories—tales of a glimmering promise that could never be reached.
For all its dread, Dreadwater Prison is a place of unyielding justice for the worst criminals, but it is also a place where despair reigns. Time passes differently there, as though the ocean itself controls it. Days blend into nights, and seasons lose their meaning, leaving those inside to wonder if they are simply waiting for the sea to claim them, or if they are truly forgotten.
