35MM KETF ROUND GEPARD CROSS-SECTION

35MM KETF ROUND GEPARD CROSS-SECTION 3D print model

Description

The 35x228mm KETF round is used on many anti-aircraft cannons. Most recently on the German Gepard. The round is programmed at the muzzle of the weapon after it has been fired by the onboard computers which track the target, determine range, speed and the calculated position of the target when the projectile gets there. The fuze detonates and spreads 152 tungsten pellets into the target.

The wall thickness are modified from the original round so as to be printable, but not so thick as to not look realistic. Due to the detailed nature of this and the fine threads, it would be recommended that this be printed on a resin printer.
