I made this for a friend who loves watermelons, and I hope it can be shared with other like minded fans. A small container in the form of a segment of water melon. Broken down into 4 colour prints, to be constructed with a glue. I have changed the design to include a wall cavity in the lid to reduce material and increase volume of space inside.
DESCRIPTION
I have printed these on a solid fill in and with 30 degree supports on an UP!Plus 2, which took the following times and used the stated amount of each filament:
BLACK 1.6 g Print time = 15 minutes
WHITE 11.3g Print time = 1 Hr 57 minutes
RED 10.4g Print Time = 2 Hrs 1 minute
GREEN 18.5 g Print time = 2 Hrs 48 minutes
This does require some clean up and glue for assembly. I used a liquid solvent cement to join the red, white and black pieces together. A nice finishing trick was to use some acetone to melt and mix the red filament with the white into a sludge that could be painted on blending the join.
