DESCRIPTION

Figure of Date from AITSF, split into head and body files. Contains two different head pieces, one with an eyepatch, and one without. The head pieces fit into the body piece at the neck. It is recommended to print the head at an angle and the body upside down.

Personal Recommended Cura Settings:

Walls:

  • Wall Thickness: 1.6mm

Infill:

  • Infill Density: 5-10% (make the body a higher infill percentage than the head and make sure to increase the density of smaller forms so that they don't break)
  • Infill Pattern: Lines

Support:

  • Support Placement: Everywhere
  • Support Overhang Angle: 60-65 degrees
  • Support Density: 15-20%
  • Enable Support Interface
  • Enable Support Roof
  • Enable Support Floor
  • Use Towers

Build Plate Adhesion: Raft

Size: Print Head & Body at 72.51% for a ~5in figure

Angle: It is recommended to print these files at an angle where minimum support is required, while being enough to prevent the print from failing. I tend to print the heads at a 30-45 degree angle and the bodies at a 180 degree angle (so that the feet are in the air).
