This is my rendition of the AT-4 (Anti-Tank) Rocket Launcher. This recoilless rocket is prided amongst the US Armed Forces as a lightweight fast deployment munition.
Modeled using an inert launcher, it is very close to scale but not exact (not recommended to use if precision of the weapon dimensions is needed). Included is the rocket launcher in quads ready for subdivision using a mixture of materials and textures. I have also created the rocket and the charge block in the tube. The rocket fins can be swept or opened as desired for any animations that require movable parts.
This model was built and is native to C4D. That said the materials may not reflect the same in other programs. However in C4D many materials are using the Lumas antistrophy shader for maximum effect. C4D model maximizes the use of the C4D tools such as array (for quick animation of all fins on the rocket), and the bend deformer (used on the nose rubber for deployment animation or stills).
Although these are designed for C4D the model for other programs comes in two configurations, high poly and low poly. Bump mapping and textures were created for all non-C4D programs to offer a very similar effect. Use the low poly quad model for subdivision or nurbing in your favorite program, or simply use the ready to go high poly model that was designed with a subdivision factor of 2.
See my Sharkeye UAV if you would like an aircraft ready and prepped with this model already equipped.
NOTE: This model is native to Cinema 4D, all renders were created using C4D R15 and may not reflect other programs in terms of materials. Polygons represent the low resolution C4D model (Available for other programs on request).
If this model meets or exceeds your expectations please comment and like. Happy Modelling!
