This cruise ship is high quality, high detail, polygonal model, built nearly scale for an accurate representation of the original object. It looks very realistic and renders nicely without any special render software. There are several animateable features including radar antenna, propellers, rudder, cranes, and flag. This ship would be great in video animations. It includes lifeboats and many deck accessories. It has a fully textured design that allows for close-up renders, and was originally modeled in 3ds Max 2013 and rendered with default scanline. It is available in multiple formats. All materials UVW mapped and applied. Most materials are planar mapped and major materials include texturing. 3ds Max models are grouped for easy selection, and objects are logically named for ease of scene management. No cleaning up necessary just drop your models into the scene and start rendering. No special plugin needed to open scene. Model does not include any backgrounds or scenes used in preview images.
This ship was built for Flagship Cruises in 1971 in West Germany, and named Sea Venture. She operated cruises between the United States and Bermuda. Between 1975 and 2002 she sailed for Princess Cruises as Pacific Princess, becoming famous for appearing in the romantic comedy anthology TV series The Love Boat. This show did more to increase dramatically the number of tourist taking cruises and build a huge tourist industry. The Pacific Princess went on to serve other owners and areas of the world until she was scrapped a few years ago.
