Description

In season one of Miami Vice the lead character Sonny Crocket had a 39 foot Chris Craft Stinger 390X with a blue paint scheme and a wing. For season two, the show switched to a Wellcraft Scarab 38KV which was kept through out the show. The show is largely responsible for a spike in powerboating and general boating interest in 1980s Miami. The 1985 Chris Craft Stinger 390X customer options included various color options and two engine options.Either 2x V8 370hp each or 2x V8 400hp each both being Mercruiser engines. A 390 Competition model was available with more powerful engine options.Model features four color options, one original and three based on real repainted boats.Model is also fully rigged for steering, throttle movement and instruments. This model was originally made for GTAV.
