The Z-Ray glider 3d model is a near to scale realistic looking model of the Z-Ray underwater surveillance vehicle. It is built near to scale and fully textured. This simple model has moving control surfaces on the trailing edges of the wings. This model comes with the materials and textures shown here.
The Z-Ray is a stealthy underwater surveillance unit that glides over long distances at sea. It does this by pumping in water and sinking while flying through the water much like a glider does in the air. Then it pumps out the water and glides while rising using buoyancy as its thrust. This allows the vehicle to move forward constantly without the use of a power plant that can cause cavitations. This unmanned unit is operated autonomously and relays its information to the naval vessels about the environment and the ships and submarines around it.
