DESCRIPTION

A Geobukseon (Korean: 거북선), or Turtle ship, is a type of armored battleship that was employed by the Royal Korean Navy during the fight against invading Japanese naval ships. From their first appearance in the Battle of Sacheon, turtle ships, equipped with heavy and light varieties of cannons and fire arrows, greatly contributed to winning 16 times against Japan's samurai Navy under the command of legendary admiral Yi Shun Shin. Their most distinguishable features are a dragon-shaped head at the bow (front) that could discharge cannonballs, flames or smoke from the mouth, a steel plated covering over the deck to protect against arrows, musket-shots, and incendiary weapons.

This model is game ready, or can be imported in illustration programs such as Clip Paint Studio. Alternatively it can be 3D printed.
