MEKO A-200AN are general purpose frigates build for Algerian Navy. Units belong to broad family of german design MEKO 200 operated in many navies around the world. Units have unique propulsion using CODAG-WARP (WAter jet and Refined Propellers). The MEKO A-200 AN appears to be based on the South African Navy Valour class (MEKO A-200 SAN).
