Swedish Icebreaker Ale

Swedish Icebreaker Ale Low-poly 3D model

Description

Swedish Icebreaker Ale, used by the Swedish state. It was delivered from the Finnish shipyard Wärtsilä in 1973.Ale was specially built to traverse the Trollhätte channel from the sea to the Swedish lake Vänern to break the ice there during wintertime.Ales home port is Luleå in the north of Sweden.

The model uses the old bridge design (it was rebuilt around year 2000 I think).

Modelfiles are in Blender, OBJ and Collada (dae) formats. Textures are in PNG format, editable textures are in PDN format (Paint.net).Textures are 4096 x 4096 pixels.Included are textures for paint schemes used during different time periods, I have tried to reasearch these as good as I have could.Included are models for three LODs (levels of detail).

The model is created to the best of my ability using measurements and image references available from the internet, I have not been able to visit the icebreaker in real life to take measurements. The preview images are rendered using the Eevee engine in Blender.
