This 3D Model is an on scale reproduction of the historic British ship Mediator, built in Chesapeake, Virginia, in 1742. The 3D drawing has been developed with Blender, version 3.1 and uses PBR materials. Rendering is effective both with Cycles and Eevee.
Conversion to other software is quite immediate as no procedural material has been used and all objects are polygonal meshes; ngons have been generally avoided, quads preferred. Grouping of objects in Collections has been optimized, the Mirror modifier has been often used for symmetrical objects but not applied were logical grouping did not required it.
In some rendering a sea/sky landscape is shown but as it is not part of the model, it is not present in the 3d model files. Textures used in the Model are 19 images for a total of 4.12Mb.

Historical notes: HMS Mediator was a 10-gun single-masted sloop of war of the Royal Navy, in service in America in 1745, during the War of the Austrian Succession. Built in Chesapeake Bay in 1742, she was purchased by the Navy four years later and sailed to Portsmouth for fitting out. She was captured by a French privateer in June 1745, but recaptured the following day. Mediator sprang a leak and foundered in Ostend harbor on 29 July 1745.
Construction notes: Mediator was built as a private merchant vessel in early 1742, on the shore of Chesapeake Bay in the British colony of Virginia. She was a single-masted sloop with sloop-rigged sails, a 44 ft 0in (13.4 m) keel and a substantial 21 ft 2 in (6.5 m) beam.
