Included in the Railroad Elements Series this model results mainly from photo analysis and some physical dimensions taken on site. I really invested some time on details, especially on the optical assembly that includes light source, translucent bulb, parabolic reflector and a concave lens. All these elements are independent and can be easily configured to obtain that specific amplified light glow of traffic lights. Please check thumbnails where I show in detail the optical elements. The encasement includes four compartments with fully hinged doors and the connection to the pole is made by a bolted flange piece . I also modeled the safety anti fall frame, nuts and bolts, control box and brackets. The pole is fixed to a concrete footing by a circular flange with prominent invert bolts. Finally, I modeled the cabinet that usually includes the low-tension elements and network communication devices. For adding detail, I modeled the lock handle and key slit. The cabinet also sits on a concrete footing. Some topology is simplified to quads but most of the model is composed by tris. The elements were unwrapped and rendered as shown in thumbnails. Ballast rocks, sleepers, rails, rail clamps are not included and will be part of another model. Environment elements and ambient light were used to show case de model and are included in the model package. All dimensions in meters. Overall height 4.83 m, footing 0.68 m, cabinet height 1.02 m, width 0.82 m. The model was mainly developed in Blender. Feel free to ask me any questions about the model, or if you want some similar model with specific attributes or format conversion.PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION TO EVALUATE MODEL CONTENTS AND INSPECT ALL THUMBNAILS BEFORE BUY.
