The British Rail Class 20 is a class of diesel-electric locomotive built between 1957 and 1968. Unusually for a British design, the locomotive had a single cab. This caused problems with visibility for the driver when traveling nose first, though the view was comparable to the steam powered locomotives that it replaced. The 73 tonne locomotive produce 1,00 horsepower and can run at up to 75 MPH. There were designed to work light mixed freight traffic.
