This Pirate Snub-fighter (R-41A Starchaser) Sci-fi Vehicle Set is set up for CGI use and therefore includes texture files and is fully UV unwrapped. This model is intended for use in CGI movies or art projects, and as such may prove a little high poly for game engine use except when a game engine is being used to facilitate virtual film making, so I wouldn't consider it to be game ready. The asset also includes animated parts and elements, including engine glows, animated landing gear and opening canopy.
This spacecraft model design was inspired by the Pirate Starfighters that appeared in the Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian Season 3. I have created the most accurate representation of this vehicle possible given the limited reference available at the time, that being primarily screengrabs from the show, and the concept art featured in the show's end credits. As such, this model may not be entirely accurate to the screen used asset, and creative license has been used where reference for an area just isn't available. However it is still most likely the most accurate model of this vehicle currently around, especially with the new additional detailing of the interior, and painstaking efforts have been made to make this model as accurate as possible. But at the end of the day, this is my interpretation of this ship.
This comprehensive package includes:
Three 3DS Max files, two, (Starchaser_Slider & Starchaser_Red_Slider) which feature all you need for the ship, and slider functionality to control the animated parts of the model, these also provide you the two colour schemes that we see this ship in as it appears in the show. Blue and red. The last 3DS Max file, (Starchaser_CGI_Red) has the same animated parts, but created with keyframe animation. This file also features a turntable animation to show off the asset.
One FBX folder containing all the parts for the asset in FBX format, for anyone who doesn't have 3DS Max as their native software.
One Texture folder containing all the texture maps for the required PBR materials. This includes, Base Colour, Roughness, Metalness, Bump/Normal, Emissive, and in some cases, optional Height maps.
One Readme file.
And last, but not least, an extensive gallery of shots of the asset so you know what you're aiming for.
