ESA's Hermes spaceplane and expendable service module. This was one of the more significant European efforts towards a crewed spacecraft, and drove many of the design decisions for the Ariane 5 rocket developed concurrently. It was primarily intended to service the Man-Tended Free Flyer platform, also to have been built by ESA in the 1990s, but later plans changed to support the NASA-led Space Station Freedom (which subsequently became the International Space Station)
Several Hermes design iterations were performed, this model is based on the configuration towards the end of the program, shortly before its cancelation.
All materials and textures are packed into the .blend file. Unapplied modifiers and instancing have been used to reduce file size and enable easy editing. A zip file of textures is also included
