ESPRIT (European System Providing Refueling, Infrastructure and Telecommunications) is one of the European Space Agency's primary contributions to NASA's lunar orbiting Gateway space station. Though it provides little living space, it does support propellant transfer equipment to refuel the Power and Propulsion Element, radiators for enhanced thermal control, 5 large windows offering 360 degree views around the station, and a small airlock for scientific experiments. ESPRIT will be built by Thales Alenia Space, with launch anticipated in 2027.
