Boeing Experiment Module

Boeing Experiment Module 3D model

Description

The Experiment Module is part of Boeing's contribution to the Blue Origin-led Orbital Reef program, under NASA's Commercial LEO Destination development program. Potentially several of these modules could be supported on Orbital Reef, providing workspace optimized for laboratory/research operations. Future derivatives could also serve as nodes for additional expansion (including a berthing location for a cupola).

These modules build on Boeing's heritage from the International Space Station, Starliner, and other human spaceflight efforts

Features a ~4.7 meter diameter pressure vessel, with a Passive CBM on one end and a passive NDS/IDS on the other.
