Description
1902 Designer: Louis RenaultProducer: Société Renault Frères founded by Louis, Marcel and Fernand Renault.
The Type G is powered by an 864cc water-cooled single-cylinder De Dion-Bouton 8 HP engine. It has distinctive twin side-mounted radiators, 3-gear manual transmission and weighs 350 kg. The front and rear semi-elliptical springs gave the Voiturette quite a comfortable ride. There were two-seater and four-seater versions.
This 3D model is the four-seater variant. Length - 2921mm, wheelbase 1900 mm, width - 1515mm and height - 1301mm. Dimensions were scaled off photos that seemed to give more reliable results than figures quoted in various other sources.
