Made with 3ds Max 2010, using polygonal surfaces. Most polygons are quads. The geometry can be further smoothed if that is needed.
The monocoque chassis is UVW mapped to achieve an adequate distribution of the carbon fiber pattern, and the painted part of the chassis has its own material The color can be easily changed.
