Renault FT 1917 game-ready model

Renault FT 1917 game-ready model Low-poly 3D model

Description

The Renault FT, frequently referred to in post-World War I literature as the FT-17 or FT17, was a French light tank that was among the most revolutionary and influential tank designs in history. The FT was the first production tank to have its armament within a fully rotating turret. The Renault FT's configuration – crew compartment at the front, engine compartment at the back, and main armament in a revolving turret – became and remains the standard tank layout. As such, some historians of armoured warfare have called the Renault FT the world's first modern tank. (Wikipedia)

I would like to rate this model as good AND bad. GOOD: It a very well-made and detailed model. It's pretty much how it's described. The model is something I've been looking for. BAD: It is TOO detailed. There are way too many parts that could have been combined without harming the end product. all of those parts are not connected by a "master" part that can allow it to be moved or scaled. I use Poser and will have to "parent" each piece to larger parts and then parent them to a single piece of the model that I can manipulate. Final score: 2 out of five.
