DESCRIPTION

Low Poly model of WW2 Pansarbil armored car.

Model contains real details and proportions. 2048x2048 textures included: -Color maps -psd (AO, decals on separated layers, specular on Alpha channel) 2k,1k (wheels) -Normal maps 2k,1k -Emission map for lights . Texture designed for scaling - great for mobile games.

The Pansarbil m/39 was characterized by a low body, although the ground clearance was sufficient for the Swedish roads and terrain. The welded rolled homogeneous armor was relatively thin, with a maximum thickness of 18 mm (0.7 in) on the front, but well distributed and sloped. The crew of six members included the front driver and machine-gunner, the rear driver and rear machine-gunner. The vehicle was symmetrical and could drive either way with the same performances. The 140 hp Scania-Vabis petrol engine was in the middle section, on the hull’s left side, and assisted by a 4 speed gearbox, forward and backward. The standard turret was derived from that of the L-60 (m/38), and had been modified for the installation of radio equipment for the Danish army. It was located in the middle of the hull, operated by the commander and gunner. Danish m/39s were armed with a QF 20 mm (0.79 in) Madsen auto cannon. In addition, two Madsen 8 mm (0.31 in) light machine guns were placed at the front and rear of the vehicle. The third Madsen LMG was coaxial to the main gun.

Awesome stuff, however as someone very interested in Swedish armored vehicle, i feel the need to point out that this is not a Pbil m/39, as the armament and turret is that of the Pbil m/40. Sorry if this comes of as nitpicky, i just care a lot about these vehicles :)

Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal

No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.

Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.

UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
