Praga S5T (road five-tonne, colloquially espětka) is a medium-tonnage road truck, built on the basis of a three-tonne Praga V3S, from which it took over mainly the drivetrain, modified frame and cab. Unlike the V3S, the S5T is a two-axle, with rear-wheel drive (4 × 2 mark). Gradually, three developmental versions, differing mainly used engine. The basic design of the vehicle was a flatbed and three-way tipper. Besides them, however, other purpose-built superstructures were mounted on the car. Furthermore, there were variants with an extended wheelbase or extended cab. Under the designation S5T-TN arose trailer trucks based on the modified chassis S5T. The production of the Praga S5T car took place in 1956–1961 at AZKG Praha-Vysočany, and then, until its completion in 1972, in Avia Letňany.File
