Key Features of an AVIRamp:Fully compliant with accessibility regulations, such as the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and similar global standards.Designed to serve all passengers through one boarding process, eliminating the need for separate assistance services.Usually constructed from modular aluminum components, making them lightweight, durable, and easy to maneuver. Can be used with various aircraft types, from small regional jets to larger commercial aircraft.Helps reduce turnaround times for airlines by streamlining the boarding and disembarkation process.
Benefits:Promotes dignity and inclusion by allowing all passengers, including wheelchair users, to board via the same route.Enhances safety by removing the risks associated with stairs or vertical lifts.Often more cost-effective than motorized ambulifts or other complex ground equipment. Can be used in remote stands or locations without jet bridges.AVIRamps are commonly seen at regional airports or on remote stands at larger airports where traditional jet bridges aren’t available.
