The Toyota Coaster is a microbus that until its third generation was manufactured by the Toyota Motor Corporation at the Toyota Body Co. plant in Yoshiwara, Japan. The fourth generation is currently manufactured at the Gifu plant in Japan under the Toyota CV (Commercial Vehicles) company. It was introduced in 1969, and has four generations of models. It has also been marketed under the Hino Liesse II brand since 1996.
Third Generation: From 1993 to 2017, the models had a capacity from 22 to 30 passengers, the body is shaped like a carambola, it resembles a retro version of the first generation. From 2001 models appear with the new front lights. In 1997, the Coaster with a Hybrid engine was launched for Japan, and in Hong Kong they have units that use LPG engines to reduce pollution.
