VDB Advection Fog
Note: I worked with these vdb-files in Blender but you can import these at any other 3d software that allows to work with vdb's. The files are in the vdb-folder.
Advection Fog occurs when warm, moist air flows over a colder surface. This natural spectacle can usually be observed when a warm front passes over a mountain range with a blanket of snow.
This VDB sequence was created to imitate this type of fog. Its ready for render and you can using easily in your 3D scenes and environments. You can drop one frame or the whole animation with just a few clicks.
VDB Advection Fog - 399 Frames | Fade In
The 399 frames-long advection fog sequence has a slow motion and and appears with a Fade In transition. The sequence was created for users who do not want to use loop vdb's.
