Puzzle Modular Pieces 3D model

The model was super segmented with straight edges, leaving for an almost pixelated appearance. Also the model was hollowed out, constructed with a dozen or so loft features. I had to strip the model down a basic sketch, correct all the straight edges then extrude it, replacing almost 20 objects with 2 (a sketch and an extrusion). Now I admit that some portion of the issue may have been driven off of the conversion that was required to get the purchased model into Solidworks, as the provided file type can only be used with Solidworks premium, and not the professional that I have. Now I only paid a few dollars for the model, so I'm by no means out any real money, but I wouldn't do it again, it would have been quicker and less painful to start from scratch.
