Motel Scene

Motel Scene Free low-poly 3D model

Description

Low poly and low resolution small remote motel with period vehicles, furniture, and appliances. Poly count was kept low and texture resolution was kept below 128 except the car and truck which is 256 each.

The idea was to create a simple retro console style scene but with a modern renderer and an FPU and I think it looks pretty good (https://pixelfed.social/p/troikaime/246478785023709184).

Some objects are uniquely unwrapped between 0-1 but many are not, I've dropped this scene into about half a dozen game engines and it looks good in all of them though you may need some slight tweaking depending on the import process. If you want absolute performance you should consider packing all unique textures into an atlas as the initial texture load is the most expensive step but I don't think there's a machine out there that would struggle with this scene.

The Unity Package was create for 2020.2 HDRP lit shaders, but works fine with other versions and rendering pipelines after you adjust the shaders.
