How do I plug these textures into VRay? 3ds max or Maya workflow would be great. Since they werent exported from substance with the vray preset, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah... tried that.. Its very specific to the render engine. Youve exported for a game engine, not the vray set. Its interpreting the displacement differently as well as gloss and metalness. If you want to pass me the substance file i'll export it out myself and just pay you for the substance file.

My textures were not created with substance. So there is no substance file. In order to be using PBR textures with VRay, you need the latest version of VRay. They added the metalness option. For displacement, it’s a modifier “VRay displacement” that you add to your mesh. For the roughness channel, plug it into gloss and down below there is and option to change from gloss/roughness. Hope this helps.

Why don't you show these material on a rock? If I can see them on a rock, I can decide.

It is impossible for me to render every material on every possible object it can go on. Sorry.
