WOODEN LARGE TRAIN CARRIAGE TOYS - RogueFilmProductions Low-poly 3D model

These models were designed with the intent of serving as main props or background objects for animation or 3D photography. You are free to use them in any way you wish as long as you credit RogueFilmProductions.

These large wooden train carriages were made almost to scale, with a length of 52cm, a width of 6.1cm and 18.5cm in height. The model has been provided with wooden textures using procedural nodes to create a texture based on real-life wooden toys. Every single edge is bevelled (8 segments at 0.05cm or 0.5mm width) to reflect light as a real-life object would. The wheels are Rigged to an empty Sphear using an X-axis constraint for easy animation. The carriages are all linked to each other through multiple shears parented together. A simple rotation of 1-8 degrees will create a natural-looking curve you may expect to see on a real train going around the bend. Note that the larger carriages have 3 separate driver blocks that can independently rotate to match the curve of any tracks you may apply them to.

To attach to a train, simply duplicate the parenting system and also remember to duplicate the anchors you see on both ends of the carriages onto whatever train model you are using.
