After viewing some tutorials on DigitalTutors, I decided to further hone my skills with this challenge. Using various reference images of Fender parts, I box modeled the scene in a week. The body was created using the create polygon tool and cleaned up using the split poly tool. This was done to ensure clean geometry with symmetrical quads. The rest of the parts were box modeled to fit their specific dimensions. The guitar neck and knobs were both unwrapped in a separate UV layout software and then textured in Photoshop.
