Xenith X2E Varsity Football Helmet

Xenith X2E Varsity Football Helmet 3D model

Description

ATTENTION! By purchasing this model, you buy only digital files (no physical item will be sent). This helmet has many subtle details and is difficult to print on a small scale. This is described in more detail below. Be sure to read the entire description before buying a model. This model cannot be used as sports equipment, wearing a full-size model can cause injuries.

High poly model of Xenith X2E Varsity Football Helmet.

The model is made in 3D max, exported to OBJ(not smoothed), FBX and STL. In 3D max, the size of the model along with the largest mask is 34.1 cm x 25.8 cm, and the height is 29.8 cm.Only V-Ray materials and light sources were used in the scene. Therefore, FBX and OBJ files do not contain light sources and materials. This scene will render at 3dsmax 2016 with V-Ray 3.60. Other versions wasn't tested.Texture - only diffuse 4096x4096, simple colors.

12 masks are included with this model: XRS-21, XRS-21S, XRS-22, XRS-22S,XRN-22X, XLN-22X, Pride, Prime, Precept, Prism, Predator, Pursuit.

When STL exported to a slicer, the model has a size equal to 1/10 of the real size I.e 34.1 mm x 25.8 mm, and the height is 29.8 mm. This model will be difficult to print. On a full scale, the shell thickness is 4 mm, and there are also 2 mm thick parts. With a scale of 1/10, the thickness of these parts will be 0.4 mm and 0.2 mm, respectively. When making a purchase decision, keep this in mind. Will you be able to print this helmet. Removing supports may also be a problem, as there is a risk of damage to thin parts. For those who still want to print the model on such a small scale, a file with a thicker shell was added, but the size of the internal elements, such as shock absorbers, was reduced. If you set the size to 125% in the slicer, you get the 1/8 model. Perhaps this scale will also be difficult to print. I got a more acceptable print quality with a size of 333%, this is 1/3, (but i used fdm printer Creality Ender 3 pro. Nozzle 0.4 mm, layer thickness 0.1 mm).Chin strap should be printed with flexible plastic. You can print this model in three large parts using the appropriate stl files, or print individual parts and then assemble the model.

Because of different Disk topology at different computers it might be required to change the textures path at the destination computer.

Thank you for buying this model

I've purchased many football helmet models that were all great but this is by far the most detailed of any I have ever seen. The attention to every last detail is outstanding. The artist noted in his description the size that it could be printed and wanted to go even smaller. The artist was generous enough to make some modifications that would allow me to do so. Class act. Highly recommend this designer and this model.
