The Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, or simply Portuguese Super Cup is an annual Portuguese football match played since 1979 between the winners of the Portuguese league (Primeira Liga) and Portuguese Cup (Taça de Portugal). When a team wins both competitions (thus achieving the double (dobradinha), it plays again against the Cup runners-up.
The Supertaça has been organised by the Portuguese Football Federation since 1981, and it is usually played in August, right before the start of the league season. The trophy is named after former player, coach, and sports journalist Cândido de Oliveira.
