FYI: the FBX version has around 1,800 ploys/verts per model. We were able to bring this down to the 900 range, but the value listed isn't correct.

Thank you for your comment - The original polygon count was in reference to the faces. I have updated the listing to reflect the triangle count instead of face count, since this is more applicable to game models.
