SpaceX Raptor Rocket Engine - 3D Model
Raptor is the name given to a rocket engine model developed by the aerospace company SpaceX as a propulsion system for its most powerful rocket to date, the Starship-Superheavy booster. Currently, the Raptor engine offers around 225 tons of thrust. Six Raptor engines power the Starship second stage, while the final version of the Superheavy booster is expected to have 33 of them, providing around twice the total thrust of the rocket that sent people to the Moon, the Saturn V. With the help of the Raptor engine, Starship is planned to send crew and cargo to the Moon, Mars and farther destinations in the Solar System.
The model is based on the Raptor V1 version of the engine. The entire model has procedural materials and a subdivision-ready geometry –the provided polycount is with the subdivision active. All the parts of the model are properly labeled as they are on the real engine. For different programs and rendering engines, the model is provided with UV maps and their corresponding textures, with sizes ranging between 512px and 4096px. An extra .rar file with the textures only is also included.
