If you want to move the flaps on the Ship, search for Hinge in the object box, and make sure your rotation is local, then you should be able to rotate the flaps in any-way you need.

Warning: This might kill your PC if it isn't powerful as the Ship contains a high amount of hexagon shapes that make up the entirety of the Ship's TPS. Also you'll need the image to planes addon if you don't have it installed already, the Ship has an image thats shrinkwrapped to the body, which said image is also included for you to add.
