Maxar Power and Propulsion Element

Maxar Power and Propulsion Element 3D model

Description

Maxar Technologies' winning bid for the Power and Propulsion Element (PPE) of NASA's cislunar Gateway station. It is derived from Maxar/Space Systems Loral's SSL-1300 GEO comsat bus, but with high-thrust electric propulsion, much larger roll-out solar arrays, and docking and EVA interfaces to support Gateway requirements. NASA selected Maxar to provide this module in 2019, and Maxar has also proposed it for other commercial station applications.
