Complete International Space Station 2019Complete International Space Station 2019
Hundreds of hours have been devoted to making this model the most realistic, true to life version of the space station available on the market. From the panel designs on the Colombus module in the main picture to the stitching patterns on the mini research module, no stone is left unturned. The preview shots were set in various environments in Iray to show the dynamism of the model.
Panel designs on every module are true to life. Colour schemes on every module closely resemble their real life counterpart. Every piece has been carefully placed to ensure that they are exactly how they are situated on the station right now.
Texture Details:
The texture were made in Substance Painter and a Metallic-Roughness workflow was used. The space station is broken down into 22 pieces, each of which is comprised of several texture sets (This was done to maintain high fidelity up close). Each texture set has the following map types:Base ColorHeightRoughnessMetallic NormalAmbient Occlusion
I have included resolutions of all maps at 4096x4096, 2048x2048, and 1024x1024 for your convenience. As the space station is quite detailed these files are quite large a variation of all three resolutions can be used to optimize performance
Upon resquest I can send you the base files that were used to create each module.
Available Formats:
.obj, .fbx, .blend
Thanks,
Joe
Note:
The majority if the uvs are non overlapping. However, there are several cases where small, identical models share the same mapping on the uv map. This was done to maintain the fidelity of every piece of the space station while limiting the number of texture sets.
This model is very large, sitting at roughly 10 million polygons. The renders you see in the preview consist of mainly 1024x1024 textures with 2048x2048 up close. Some scenes have been rendered with 4k textures on some parts. I would recommend having 16gb of ram or more for this model to render smoothly.
