This is a model of the F-1 rocket engine used on the first stage of the Saturn V. It is a rather high poly version and mostly meant for closeups or for reference of the basic shape. As you can see the model does not include the insulation layer of Inconel foil and Asbestos insulation layer that the engines would usually be covered with. I thought it might look better for most renders that don't go for 100% realism but it's definitly something that I will model in the near future.I made it with the subd workflow in Blender. All the modifiers are already applied. All of the major components of the Engine are modeled while some of the wiring and other smaller details that would take up a lot more poligons are not modeled. As it is however the model is standing at 5 million poligons and isn't that lightweight on it's own.
With the purchase, you get all the baked textures plus all the procedural materials in the blend file. The materials are a mix of procedural textures and image textures to get the look of rough metal. You also get the model in obj and fbx format for easy transfer of the model between programs.
The preview renders were rendered in Cycles and Eevee. Eevee was also used to render the animation.
