Northrop Grumman (formerly Orbital Sciences Corporation and OrbitalATK)'s Enhanced Cygnus cargo spacecraft, used Commercial Resupply Services program. Cygnus was one of four commercial vehicles developed for NASA's COTS and CRS programs, to support cargo delivery to the International Space Station. Cygnus missions have flown on Northrop's Antares and United Launch Alliance's Atlas V, and are planned to fly on SpaceX's Falcon 9 and Firefly's MLV
Includes the Cygnus Pressurized Cargo Module (PCM) and Service Module (SM). To match the configurability of the real-life Cygnus, the model is highly modular; each panel, the PCM structure, PCM endcap/Common Berthing Mechanism, and service module are all separate pieces and appropriately instanced. Parts are included for the original Enhanced Cygnus spacecraft (CRS missions OA-4 through NG-11), Phase A of the CRS2 contract (NG-12 through NG-19, with added radiator panels and FRAM ports), and Phase B of CRS2 (with a fourth PCM segment). The UltraFlex solar arrays are rigged
All textures and materials are packed in the .blend file. Modifiers, geometry nodes, and instancing have been used to reduce file size and enable easy editing. A .zip file of image textures is included as well
Changelog:
March 4 2020: Initial upload
July 16 2023: Complete remodel. Greater detail, better materials and textures, add rigging for the solar arrays, add parts for CRS2 mission configurations, add exports to additional file formats, update to Blender 3.6
